The Central Nebraska Science and Engineering Fair (CNSEF) was hosted on Wednesday March 22nd at the University of Nebraska Kearney. Five high school students from Cozad participated; Brock Malcom, Andrea Meester, Makenzie Smock, Taeh Soe and Ben Yocom. Top 3 projects from the fair qualify for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Dallas in May.
Brock Malcom's project of How Nutrients Affect Earth's Marine Systems received a Blue ribbon.
Andrea Meester's project of Argentum's Ability to Inhibit Bacterial Growth received outstanding project award from Society for InVitro Biology and a Purple ribbon
Makenzie Smock's project of Puppies and Kittens received a Blue ribbon.
Taeh Soe's project of Cross Country Classifications received a Blue ribbon.
Ben Yocom's project of Revolution Effect on Different Golf Balls received a Red ribbon.
