CHS Senior Madison Sayer signed today to play softball at York University in York, NE, starting in the fall of 2025! She will also be pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education while continuing her athletic journey.
Madison celebrated this exciting milestone with her family, including her parents Glenn and Tonya Sayer and brother Carl. She was also joined by Aaron Alvarez, Head Softball Coach at York University, CHS Coaches Brent Dinslage and Sammy Higgins, and Abbie Johnson, assistant coach for her summer fast pitch Prodigy team out of McCook. Teammates, friends, and supporters gathered to cheer her on and make the day even more memorable.
Madison shared that York University feels like "home" and reminded her of Cozad, thanks to its welcoming atmosphere. She is excited about the education program and the opportunities to grow in the softball program.
