Cozad High School Graduation: Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 am.
Graduation will occur on August 1, 2020, at 11:00 am. The graduation ceremony will be one of two ways: traditional or virtual. The type of commencement exercise will be decided based on the guidelines set forth by the State of Nebraska and Local Health Department at that time. More details will be shared by Mr. Beckenhauer as we get closer to this date.
Traditional: Our hope is to be able to hold a traditional ceremony if the DHM restrictions have been lifted by this date.
Virtual: If the DHM restrictions have not been changed enough to hold a traditional ceremony, we will then offer a virtual option. This option will include the graduation speakers and photos of the members in the Class of 2020.
Graduation Rehearsal: Thursday, July 30 , 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at CHS
We will only hold a graduation rehearsal if we are able to proceed with a traditional graduation ceremony. More details will be shared by Mr. Beckenhauer as we get closer to this date.
Cap and Gowns
A time will be designated for Seniors to pick up their Cap and Gowns for graduation.
Diplomas
A time will be designated for Seniors to pick up their diplomas in the event a Virtual ceremony is held otherwise diplomas will be given on August 1, 2020, at the graduation ceremony.
We will continue to keep parents and students updated on information in regards to the graduation ceremony.
