Wednesday, September 27th, CHS Seniors participated in the Fall Seminar sessions. The sessions are designed to help seniors as they transition from high school to post-secondary or the work force. The opening keynote was Dr. Tim Davis, a 1996 CHS alumni. The day included 17 community members visiting with our senior class. Sessions included: Credit and Finance, Information on Scholarships, Future Job Market of Dawson County, Tips on applying for College, Stress Management, Funding Your Education with Financial Aid, Career Readiness, What Makes a Person Employable, and the College Experience.
This is a great opportunity for our seniors and we appreciate all of our speakers for sharing their time and expertise!
