With the current health directives, we have seen changes in our school activity calendar/schedule. We are sharing our most recent information regarding events this week, January 11th - January 16th..  Please be advised, times and events can change quickly and we will do our best to keep you informed. We will also post streaming links for events on this page.  

  • Effective January 4th, updated NSAA Guidelines state:

  • Spectators are required to wear face coverings at all times while attending indoor events. 

  • Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth. 

  • Attendance is restricted to 50% of occupancy. (Yellow DHM)

  • Fan attendance at extracurricular activities—both school and club—is no longer limited to household members of participants.

Tuesday, January 19th

  • JV/Varsity Wrestling vs. Gothenburg--6:30 pm
    • Parents' Night
    • Gym capacity 50%. Spectators "First Come First Serve"

Thursday, January 21st

  • JV and Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball vs. Lexington (Home Game)
    • Game times are 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm
      • Varsity Girls and JV Boys 5:30 pm
      • Varsity Boys and JV Girls 7:00 pm
    • The media production class will be live streaming the varsity Cozad vs. Lexington basketball games today (1/21). Lady Haymakers tip off @ 5:30 p.m. Fans can find the game at the following link:

    • Gym capacity 50%. Spectators "First Come First Serve"
    • Mid-Winter Royalty Crowned after the Boys' Varsity Game
  • MS Boys' Basketball
    • 8th Grade at Home at the Elementary Gym--4:30 pm (vs. Minden)--Gym capacity 50%. Spectators "First Come First Serve"
    • 7th Grade at Minden--4:30 pm--Gym capacity 50%. Spectators "First Come First Serve"

Saturday, January 23rd

  • JV and Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball vs. Holdrege (Home Game)
    • Game times are 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm
      • Varsity Girls and JV Boys 4:00 pm
      • Varsity Boys and JV Girls 5:30 pm

    • Gym capacity 50%. Spectators "First Come First Serve"
  • No Wrestling at Lexington Invite (as shown on printed calendar)
  • SWC Wrestling at Valentine 11:30 am. Varsity only.  Each wrestler may have 4 spectators
  • CHS Speech compete in Broken Bow Virtual Speech Meet

Monday, January 25th

  • SWC Basketball Tournament begins
    • Girls' game at Broken Bow--game time 6:00 pm vs. Broken Bow.  Household members+grandparents only at Broken Bow 1.25.21
    • Boys' game at Ainsworth--game time 5:00 pm vs. Ainsworth
