Cozad Community School

With the current health directives, we have seen changes in our school activity calendar/schedule. We are sharing our most recent information regarding events this week, February 1-6, 2021..  Please be advised, times and events can change quickly and we will do our best to keep you informed. We will also post streaming links for events on this page.  

• Effective January 4th, updated NSAA Guidelines state:

• Spectators are required to wear face coverings at all times while attending indoor events. 

• Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth. 

• Attendance is restricted to 50% of occupancy. (Yellow DHM)

• Fan attendance at extracurricular activities—both school and club—is no longer limited to household members of participants.

Monday, February 1

• 7th & 8th Grade Boys' Basketball at Ogallala. Game times are 5:00 Central time (4:00 Mountain time).  7th grade in the Auditorium and 8th Grade is at Prairie View School

Tuesday, February 2nd

• 7th Grade Boys' Basketball at Gothenburg (make-up game) at 4:30 pm. Spectators limited to 50% and must wear a mask. The game will be streamed at https://www.youtube.com/channe...
•  9th & 10th grade Girls' and Boys' Basketball at Ogallala. Girls' game at 5:00 (central time) and Boys' game at 6:15 central time. 

Thursday, February 4th

• JV and Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball vs. GI Central Catholic (Home Game)
  • Game times are 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm
    • Varsity Girls and JV Boys 5:30 pm
    • Varsity Boys and JV Girls 7:00 pm
• Capacity 50%--first come first serve

Friday, February 5th

• JV and Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball at Minden.  
  • JV  Girls and JV Boys game time 4:30
  • Varsity Girls game time 6:00
  • Varsity Boys game time 7:45 
  • Minden will be streaming the girls and boys varsity games.  The link to the games are below:

  • Spectators 50% capacity
• Wrestling at Sub Districts in Lexington. Wrestling begins at 3:30 pm.  Each school will be given 100 tickets for spectators.  This meet will be streamed by the LHS Activities Department.  Stream can be found at:  https://www.lexschools.org/activities/
