With the current health directives, we have seen changes in our school activity calendar/schedule. We are sharing our most recent information regarding events this week, February 8-13, 2021..  Please be advised, times and events can change quickly and we will do our best to keep you informed. We will also post streaming links for events on this page.  

  • Effective January 4th, updated NSAA Guidelines state:

  • Spectators are required to wear face coverings at all times while attending indoor events. 

  • Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth. 

  • Attendance is restricted to 50% of occupancy. (Yellow DHM)

  • Fan attendance at extracurricular activities—both school and club—is no longer limited to household members of participants.

Monday, February 8

  • 7th Grade Boy's Basketball vs. McCook.  Game time is 4:30 pm (Cozad Elementary Gym)
  • 9/10 Girl's and Boys' Basketball vs. Gothenburg. Games at 5:00 pm  & 6:30 pm.  Live stream at 
  • Spectators limited to 50% and must wear a mask.

Tuesday, February 9th

  • 8th Grade Boys' Basketball at Cozad (make-up game) at 4:30 pm at Cozad Elementary Gym. Spectators limited to 50% and must wear a mask. 

  

Wednesday, February 10th

  • FFA Districts @ Curtice

Thursday, February 11th

  • 7th & 8th Boy's Basketball vs. Holdrege. 7th Grade at Cozad Elementary at 4:30 pm; 8th Grade at Wellness Center at 4:30 pm. 
  • 9 & 10 Grade Basketball (Boys & Girls) at Holdrege. This is a make-up game.  Girls at 5:00 pm and Boys at 6:30 pm
  • Capacity 50%--first come first serve 

Friday, February 12th--Updated 2/12/2021

  • Attention Basketball Parents & Patrons: Tonight’s games with Broken Bow have been cancelled. The Boys’ game will be made up on Monday, February 15th. JV Boys will play at 4:30 and Varsity boys to follow at 6:00 pm. Both of these games will be played in the CHS gym.  Parents’ Night for both boys and girls basketball teams will take place between the JV and Varsity games that night. Due to Girls’ sub-district tournament next week, their game against Broken Bow will not be rescheduled. 

    The status of the Boys’ Basketball game scheduled with Sidney on Saturday, February 13th, is still being  determined if it will be played or not. More information will be posted as soon as available.

    • Game times are 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm

  • Due to low 7th grade boys basketball numbers, the schedule has changed for 7th/8th basketball games at Broken Bow: Monday, February 15th8th Grade @ 4:30 pm / 7th Grade will follow 8th A-game and 8th B-game.
  • Schedule:  A Game:  Bow 8A vs Cozad 8A
  • B Game: Bow 8B vs Cozad 8B
  • C Game: Bow 7A vs Cozad 7A
  • (All Games at Activities Building Gym)
  • *Household Members + Grandparents of participating players only (must be on the list)
