The Cozad Early Education Center uses the evidence-based Pyramid Model to teach and support the social and emotional development of preschoolers. Each year an outside evaluator visits our school to measure how well teachers are implementing the practices of this program. Over the course of three years, the teachers at CEEC have grown in their skills and have made tremendous gains in their TPOT (Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool) scores. The scores are as follows:

The program’s goal for teachers who have finished year 3 is to earn percentile scores in the 80’s. As you see, our teachers have far exceeded that goal.
