Students from Cozad Middle School and Cozad High School had the opportunity to have hands-on learning experiences with the Mobile STEM lab provided by Dawson Area Development.
Students were able to laser designs on plastic, wood and ceramic tiles with the Glowforge Laser, print vinyl decals on the Sihouette Cameo 3, create objects with the Alfina 3D printer and fish with the virtual reality Oculus Go VR goggles. The Smart Home equipment was available to show the students how an Echo device can control lights.
For the more advanced students, there were Arduino circuit board kits, a Dobot Magician Robotic Arm, a Makey Makey, Raspberri Pi and the Dobot Magician Robotic Arm to challenge their learning experiences.
