New Student Pre-Registration Monday, August 5th

CHS Fall Sports Parent Meeting will be held on Monday, August 5th, at 7:00 pm in the High School Auditorium. New Activities Director, Mr. Jermey Yilk will be hosting this meeting for all Fall Sport parents.
Haymaker youth football camp will start at 8:30 AM on Tuesday the 30th. Students can go to the practice fields north of the Wellness Center. (Grade 4-6, 8:30-10/ Grades 7&8 10-12). #cozadMakers
Cozad Community Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time Administrative
Assistant opening at the District Office. This is a 12-month, 40 hour per week
position. Benefits include single health, dental and vision insurance. Previous
experience is preferred, but not required.

Just a reminder that the Parent/Student PowerSchool Portal is closed for the summer roll over to 2019-2020. The PowerSchool App is also closed. Once the roll over and scheduling is complete, we will open the portal back up for the HS and MS. The elementary will open back up on August 20th.
Cozad Community Schools is seeking applicants for Substitute Teachers. Job responsibilities include instruction and supervision of students, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning. Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate required or applicants may apply for a Local Substitute Teaching Certificate through the Nebraska Department of Education. Applicants may qualify for a local substitute permit if they have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of college coursework. Today, Wednesday, July 24th, is pickup for Backpacks from 9-11 and 6-8 and then again on Thursday from 9-12. After that you will need to call 784-2744 and arrange a time. This is for Cozad students. Pick up is at the High School in Room 121.

Just a reminder that all athletes grades 7-12 must have a sport's physical and all activity participants (ex: Speech, Band, Choir, One-Acts) must complete the NSAA Form, medical release and drug consent. This is the last week for the summer food program. Breakfast and lunch will be served all week. Lunch menu is Monday chicken nuggets, Tuesday rib on a bun, Wednesday chicken patty with a hot roll, Thursday fish sticks and Friday will be peanut butter and jelly sandwiches .
Due to facility issues there will be no speed camp tonight, Tuesday, July 9th. #cozadMakers
