Cozad Middle School SMASH Paper Product Drive November 8th to December 5th. All donations go to the Cozad Food Pantry. The winning class gets out after 4th period on Wednesday, December 21st!

The Tri-M Honor Society Exec Team attended the state symposium in Lincoln, NE. The exec team includes Kalika Schryer, Andrea Meester, Nayelie Castillo Frias, Taeh Soe and Makenzie Smock. They are pictured with the keynote speaker, John Jacobson.


Congratulations to Mr. Woody Blackmore who received the 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year Award from the Veterans of Foreign Wars Cozad Post 890. The award was presented today to Mr. Blackmore by Mr. John Grinde and Mr. Brad Peltier.

World Kindness Day is November 13th! To join the celebration, CEEC will be having fun dress up days the week of November 14th.
Monday--"Round Up Some Kindness" (wear your favorite western clothes!)

Wednesday--"Go Team Kindness" (wear sporty clothes)
Thursday--"Dreaming of Kindness" (wear pajamas or extra comfy clothes)

High School Winter athletes: The sports pictures will be taken on November 22nd. Order forms are in the HS Office.


Junior Parents: The pies from the Junior Fundraiser arrived a week early! All juniors that sold pies have to come pick them up tomorrow, Friday, during 8th period or after school. Thank you!

On Tuesday, November 15th, at 4:30 pm, the Cozad Board of Education will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the upcoming construction project at Cozad Elementary, 420 East 14th Street. This event is open to the public, and no official business will be conducted by the board.


The public is invited to the Veterans Day Program at Cozad High School on Friday, November 11th, at 10:00 am in the High School gymnasium. Please join us in honoring our veterans.
