Congratulations to CHS Students who competed at the Curtis WRSF Science Fair today and qualified for State: Lilianna Wylie, Makenzie Smock, and Alex Werner. Also congratulations to all the students who competed today and earned recognition for their projects: Alexis Ruano, Kaylee Revelo , Ashtyn Snider, Megan Dyer, Karyn Burkholder, Brock Malcom, Jade Brown, Kelsey Romero, Andrea Meester, Makenzie Smock, Alex Werner, Mallory Applegate, and LIlianna Wylie.



Due to forecasts of impending weather, Cozad Community Schools will not be in session on Thursday, March 10th.


Seniors & Senior Parents: There will be NO Senior Scholarship work night this evening (Wednesday, March 9th). We will try hard to reschedule this at a later date.

Congratulations to our February Elementary Cozad Kids Caught with Character! We are proud of you all!


Congratulations to CMS students Camryn Yilk and Jesiah Bowen who placed at the Kearney District National History Day contest. Camryn placed 1st in individual performance and Jesiah placed 2nd in research paper. Both 8th grade students qualified for the State History Day contest in April.



Good Luck to the CHS Speech team at Districts today in Sidney. The following speech members will be competing at Districts: Shaundra Wiederholt, Lynzi Becker, Dante Dyches-Chandler, Mariah Ewoldt, Breanna Pacheco, Sam Hermosillo, Sam Blackmore, Quinn Salleng and Kalika Schryer.

Cozad Community Schools is seeking applicants
for a Special Education Paraprofessional.
This opening is a 9-month, 35 hour per week position at the Elementary School. Paras require a High School Diploma or GED and must pass a Para Assessment or have the minimum amount of college credit. You will work closely with the teacher in your assigned classrooms and support them in their duties. Tasks may change depending on the needs of the students. Ideal candidate is caring, compassionate and dedicated to the students’ success. Benefits include single health, dental and vision insurance.

Happy National FFA Week to our High School and Middle School FFA members and sponsors. These students work hard all year long on contests, community service and building leaders. They will soon compete in State competitions April 6th through the 8th. We have a large number of Juniors and Seniors that will be receiving their State Degree.
