It's an exciting day for our Haymaker athletes as both Volleyball and Softball teams host their invites today! 🟡 Softball:--The Lady Haymakers kick off their tournament at 9:00 AM with an opening game against the Lexington Minutemaids. 🔴 Volleyball:--The Volleyball invite begins at 12:00 PM, and our Cozad Haymakers will play their first match at noon against Centura in the West Gym. Come out and show your support for our athletes!

Congratulations to the Cozad High School 2024 Top 5 Homecoming Candidates. King candidates include Boston Irish, Mason Fales, Noah Shoemaker, Brock Malcom and Lane Wright. Queen candidates include McKenzie Munster, Erica Weatherly, Mara Smith, Brilee Wiese, and Callie Kostrunek. King and Queen will be crowned at next Friday's homecoming game at the end of the game on September 20th.

🏐 Good Luck to Our 7th and 8th Grade Volleyball Teams! 🏐 Today marks the beginning of the season for our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams at home! The 7th grade will play in the Wellness Center Gym, while the 8th grade takes on their opponents in the East Gym (The Barn). Both games start at 4:30 PM. 📍 Important Parking Info: We kindly ask all spectators to use the east parking lot of the High School and Wellness Center for the best parking availability and access to both gyms. Please note that our main entrance on the east side is still under construction, so enter through Door ED35 for the East Gym (Barn) entrance. Let's show our support and cheer on our teams! First Tailgate of the Season! Join us this Friday, September 13th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM for the first tailgate of the season, hosted by the FCCLA and Charitable Fund of Cozad! They will be serving up delicious walking tacos and hot dogs at The Barn. Guests can enter through the big garage door, and seating will be available in the Gray Space. Don’t miss out on the fun, food, and community spirit!

Hi 5th Grade parents, just a reminder that the "5th Grade Band Info & Rental Night" is tomorrow, September 12th @ 6:30PM in the Middle School Commons area. If you have already acquired an instrument, bring it with you. Otherwise, this is where you will get an instrument. Please bring either cash or check for renting an instrument (either from Yanda's or the school) and purchasing other supplies necessary. Please bring your student with you if possible, as they will need to know all of this information as well! Reach out to Mr. Larington if you have any questions or concerns!
