Attention parents and High School Spring Sports athletes! There will be meetings on Monday, February 24th at 6:30 PM. The Boys Golf meeting will be held in the High School Flex Classroom, and the Boys & Girls Track meeting will take place in Coach Brummer’s Classroom. Due to Cozad hosting the Boys C1-7 Sub-Districts, the meetings will be in individual locations. Be sure to join us to learn more about the upcoming season! This is for all High School athletes and parents competing in Boys Golf and Girls and Boys Track.


Thursday, February 20th is Parent-Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be held from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. High School and Middle School conferences are in an Open House format, while Elementary conferences are scheduled through Bloomz. We are excited to meet with you and discuss your child’s progress!
Reminder that there is no School for students on Thursday & Friday , February 20th & 21st.


The Cozad Boys Basketball team will be hosting the Subdistrict C1-7 games! Cozad will play in Game 2 on Tuesday, February 25, against the winner of the Minden vs. Gibbon game. Today is a monumental day as our first-ever State Girls Wrestling competitors hit the mat in Omaha.
Abby & Andrea begin their State Tournament journey today with the first session kicking off at 4:00 PM, followed by the quarterfinals after the first round.

Weather Update: The C-1 Girls Sub-District game, originally rescheduled for today, has been moved to tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19th due to weather conditions. We will announce the game time as soon as final details are set. Stay tuned for updates! #HaymakerWay

The MS Boys basketball games tomorrow (Tuesday, February 18th) have been cancelled due to weather. These games will not be rescheduled.

School is cancelled tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18th, due to the frigid temperatures, wind and snowfall. Wednesday remains a Late Start (10:00 am) with no Early-Out scheduled


CHS Seniors Lane Wright and Noah Shoemaker earned All-State Honors and will have a personal statue in the Trophy Case. Football Players that have earned All-State honors since 2013 are represented in the trophy case. Each player will have one statue in the trophy case and is given one to keep. These are donated by the Football Program. This is Lane's 2nd year earning these Honors. Congratulations Lane and Noah!

The 7th/8th boys basketball game today at Broken Bow has been cancelled. This game will not be rescheduled.


Due to the weather and the scheduled late-starts, the High School will move MAP Assessments to next week. We will conduct MAP Assessments on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, February 25th and 26th.
