As we plan for the 2025-2026 school year, it's time for students to start selecting their courses! The CHS Course Catalog is now available on our website to help guide you in choosing the best courses for next year.
Mrs. Haarberg, CHS Counselor, has already met with all current 8th-11th graders to assist with course planning. Parents, please ask your child to see their course selections, as the form must be signed by both parent and student! Course request forms are due by Friday, February 7th! Don't wait until the last minute!

SWC Basketball action continues! The Lady Haymakers will compete in the consolation round tonight in Gothenburg at 7:00 PM against Valentine. Streaming for tonight’s game will be available on Gothenburg's HudlTV (https://fan.hudl.com/usa/ne/gothenburg/organization/10643/gothenburg-high-school)
The Boys Varsity team advances to the semifinals and will take on Holdrege tomorrow, Friday, January 31, at Kearney High School with a 5:00 PM tip-off. Good luck to both teams!

Special meeting of the Cozad Community Schools Board of Education, District 11 of Dawson County, Nebraska will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Cozad District Office

The Cozad JV and Varsity wrestlers are competing today at the John Higgins Invitational, hosted by Lexington High School. The tournament begins at 9:00 AM and features schools from Nebraska, Kansas, and Colorado. This is one of the top wrestling tournaments in the state of Nebraska—best of luck to our wrestlers as they compete today!

Senior Night for Wrestling! Join us tonight at our home Boys JV and Varsity Wrestling meet as we honor our senior wrestlers. We’re proud to recognize Aaron, Brayan, Brock, Caydon, Kolton, Lorenzo, and Taeh for their hard work and dedication to the program.
It’s going to be an exciting evening of wrestling as the Boys face Gothenburg in a dual and battle for the axe! Let’s pack the stands and cheer them on!

A huge congratulations to CHS senior Noah Shoemaker on scoring his 1,000th career point last night in the Haymakers’ exciting 62-59 OT win over Gothenburg! We are so proud of you, Noah, for leading the way with a game-high 22 points and becoming just the 3rd player in Cozad history to achieve this incredible milestone. Way to make history, Noah!
